Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Open the BW Champs app or website and log in.
- Go to Account → Settings.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Confirm your choice.
Your account will be deleted immediately.
Option 2 — Request deletion here
If you can't access your account, fill in the form below and we will delete your account within 30 days.
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your name, email address and password
- Your school and form level
- Your quiz history, scores and progress
- Your coins, streaks and badges
- Your leaderboard entries and rankings
- Your competition entries and results
What We Keep
We are required to retain certain records:
- Payment and transaction records — kept as required by Botswana law and tax regulations. These are stored separately and are not linked to your learning activity.
- Anonymised statistics — aggregate data that cannot identify you (for example, total number of participants in a competition) may be retained.
How Long It Takes
- In-app deletion: immediate
- Request via this form: within 30 days
Parents and Guardians
If you are the parent or guardian of a student under 18 and would like their account deleted, please email us at admin@bwchamps.co.bw with the subject line "Delete my child's account". We will action your request without requiring the student's involvement.
